Objects

ACCESS Logan is established as a charitable non-profit association to achieve the following purposes:

  1. To empower individuals with disabilities by providing accessible, inclusive, and creative programs that support skill development, wellbeing, and personal growth.
  2. To promote social inclusion by delivering community-based activities that foster friendships, reduce isolation, and strengthen the connections between individuals with disabilities and the broader community.
  3. To improve health and wellbeing outcomes for people with disabilities through access to creative arts programs, group physiotherapy, psychosocial supports, and community engagement initiatives.
  4. To provide professional support services that assist participants in navigating the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), including Support Coordination and Plan Management, to enhance participant choice, control, and independence.
  5. To create a safe and supportive hub where participants can access a range of creative, therapeutic, and community activities tailored to their individual needs and aspirations.
  6. To advocate for the rights, needs, and inclusion of individuals with disabilities within the Logan region and surrounding communities.
  7. To build partnerships and collaborations with other community organisations, service providers, and businesses to expand opportunities, share resources, and strengthen service delivery to individuals living with disabilities.
  8. To promote public awareness and understanding of the abilities, contributions, and potential of people with disabilities through community events, exhibitions, and public engagement initiatives.
