Mission Statement 

Access Logan Inc. promotes community arts and cultural participation by creating inclusive creative programs, workshops, and events that support personal growth, social connection, and community engagement. We foster safe and welcoming spaces where individuals of all backgrounds and abilities can explore creativity, build confidence, and contribute to their community.

Our Purpose (Objects)

The principal purpose of Access Logan Inc. is to promote and advance community arts and cultural development within the Logan region.

This is achieved by:

• Creating opportunities for community members to collaborate with artists across visual, performing, literary, craft, and digital art forms.
• Supporting inclusive arts programs that enable participation regardless of age, ability, background, or circumstance.
• Encouraging creative expression that reflects community identity, aspirations, and social issues.
• Presenting exhibitions, performances, and community arts events that showcase local creativity.
• Delivering workshops, classes, residencies, and cultural projects that build skills and participation in the arts.
• Collaborating with local artists, cultural organisations, educational institutions, and community groups to strengthen cultural engagement.

Supporting Inclusion & Community Participation

In addition to our arts programs, Access Logan Inc. works to promote social inclusion and community connection by:

• Delivering community-based activities that foster friendships and reduce social isolation.
• Supporting the wellbeing of individuals through creative arts participation and community engagement.
• Providing guidance and advocacy to help participants understand and navigate supports such as the NDIS when accessing creative and community programs.
• Creating a safe and welcoming community hub where people can participate in creative, social, and wellbeing activities.
• Advocating for the inclusion, rights, and opportunities of people with disability within the Logan community.

Community Collaboration

Access Logan Inc. works collaboratively with artists, community organisations, service providers, and local businesses to expand opportunities for creative participation.

By building strong partnerships, we aim to strengthen Logan’s cultural landscape and ensure creative opportunities are accessible to all members of the community.

Not-for-Profit Commitment

Access Logan Inc. operates as a not-for-profit incorporated association.

All income and assets of the organisation are applied solely towards achieving the organisation’s purpose of promoting community arts, cultural development, and inclusive participation.

No income or assets are distributed to members except as legitimate reimbursement of expenses or payment for services rendered.

In the event of winding up, any remaining assets will be transferred to another organisation with similar community arts and cultural purposes that is endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient.

Governance & Transparency

Access Logan Inc. is governed by a committee of volunteers committed to strengthening arts participation and community inclusion in Logan.

We are committed to transparency and accountability and make organisational information available to our members and the community.
