As we prepare to welcome a new year, Access Logan Inc. is excited to announce a major milestone for our organisation, our move into a brand-new, purpose-built facility at Unit 3, 13 Corporate Place, Hillcrest QLD 4118. This new space, currently being constructed in partnership with the local RSL Sub-Branch, marks a significant step forward in our mission to support people with disability, seniors, veterans, carers, and families across the Logan region.
This expansion will allow us to broaden our programs, strengthen our community presence, and deliver even more inclusive creative arts, wellbeing, social connection, and community access initiatives.
Since establishing Access Logan Inc. in 2025, our team and community partners have worked tirelessly to bring meaningful arts and wellbeing experiences to the people of Logan. In our first 18 months, we achieved:
These achievements reflect the Strategic Priorities highlighted in our Strategic Plan 2025–2027, including cultural participation, community engagement, organisational sustainability, and advocacy for inclusive cultural life.
With this foundation in place, we are ready to grow even further.
Our new premises at Unit 3, 13 Corporate Place, Hillcrest will become a vibrant community hub — a welcoming space for residents of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds to connect, create, and thrive.
This modern facility will allow us to deliver an expanded suite of programs, including:
Hands-on, inclusive community arts programs for people of all ages and skill levels, providing creative expression, skill-building, cognitive stimulation, and confidence-building opportunities. These programs directly support our primary purpose of advancing community arts and cultural development, as outlined on page 4 of our Strategic Plan.
Tailored experiences for people with disability, seniors, and carers to reduce isolation, build friendships, and improve wellbeing through safe, supported community connection.
Mindfulness workshops, gentle movement classes, emotional wellbeing sessions, and community health activities designed to improve holistic wellbeing.
Our new space will support the continued growth of major cultural events, including:
These events showcase community talent while strengthening partnerships with local artists, cultural organisations, and businesses.
In partnership with the RSL Sub-Branch, we will deliver creative and wellbeing programs designed for ex-service personnel, with referral
pathways for both NDIS and MyAgedCare supports.
We will continue to offer assistance navigating NDIS plans, accessing community services, and advocating for participants, seniors, and
carers, ensuring no one in our community feels alone or unsupported.
As we prepare for 2026, we are acutely aware of the extremely high level of competition for community funding. For our programs to continue expanding, and for our new facility to reach its full potential, community support and recognition are essential.
We are calling for partners, sponsors for our events from local businesses, suppliers, local leaders, stakeholders, and champions of the arts who wish to give back to the community.
Your active support helps us show the council, state, and federal governments and funding bodies that our work matters, not just to our participants, but to our community as a whole. Please contact us for more information on how to help support our programs.
As highlighted throughout our Strategic Plan 2025–2027, we are committed to building:
These goals are supported by our organisational priority areas, Cultural Programs, Community Engagement, Sustainability & Growth, and Advocacy (as outlined on page 2 of the Strategic Plan).
Our move to Unit 3, 13 Corporate Place marks the beginning of an exciting chapter, one filled with growth, opportunity, and community collaboration.
With your support, we can expand our programs, reach more community members, and create a lasting impact that strengthens social connection, wellbeing, and cultural inclusion across Logan.
Together, we can build a more connected, creative, and inclusive Logan.
