Social Events That Empower and Connect

Building friendships, exploring new interests, and feeling part of something bigger—that’s what NDIS social and community participation is all about. At Access Logan Inc., we know how powerful connection can be, especially when it aligns with your NDIS goals.

That’s why we’ve created a safe, inclusive space for participants to engage in meaningful activities that support their development, wellbeing, and independence.

Here are five local events you can attend through Access Logan that directly support your NDIS plan.

1. NDIS Morning Tea – First Monday of Every Month

Location: Unit 1, 1–3 Helen Street, Hillcrest QLD 4118
NDIS Goals Supported: Building social skills, community access, increasing independence

Our monthly Morning Tea is more than just a friendly get-together. It’s a space where participants, families, carers, and providers can come together to ask questions, share stories, and build peer networks.

This event is especially helpful for those new to the NDIS or looking for clarity on how to use their plan effectively. And best of all—it’s peer-led, relaxed, and welcoming.

2. Bingo & Games Nights – Social Confidence Through Fun

NDIS Goals Supported: Social participation, communication, confidence building

Nothing breaks the ice like a fun game of bingo. Our Bingo Nights are a favourite for many participants looking to connect socially in a lighthearted and accessible way.

Participants gain confidence by engaging with others, listening, responding, and having a great time in a non-judgmental, supportive environment. We even have themed nights throughout the year!

3. Artz Academy – Inclusive Art Classes in Logan

NDIS Goals Supported: Creative expression, emotional regulation, communication skills

Run in partnership with local artists and educators, Artz Academy delivers inclusive art workshops that are perfect for participants who want to explore creativity and develop fine motor, emotional, or expressive skills.

The sessions are tailored to individual abilities and are held in supportive, small-group settings that encourage connection and personal growth.
